Mackenzie Butt

Mackenzie Butt, Patient Coordinator

Physiotherapist Assistant

Mackenzie just graduated from Western University with a degree in Clinical Kinesiology. She has a very strong passion for health and wellness and grew up playing competitive basketball, soccer, and snowboarding. In her final year of undergrad, she completed a placement at Parkwood Institute with the Stroke Rehabilitation Program. With this opportunity she was introduced to the processes of many different clinicians, including Physiotherapists during the patient rehabilitation process post-stroke. This experience fueled her interest in the rehabilitation process. In addition to this placement, she has been rehabbing from my own knee injury for the past 8-months. Throughout this, it has given her a lot of insight into the frustration that many patients may experience which has made her even more passionate to help others in a similar position! She loves to make a positive difference in people's lives, and hopes to help change many lives for the better through this position. In her spare time you can find her exercising, outdoors, or spending time with her friends and family!
